Welcome to the website of the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, Charles N. & Hilda H. M. Mason Law Library. I hope you find this site helpful, useful, and informative. While some of our pages and links to subscription resources are limited to the School of Law faculty and students, most areas, such as the catalog and research guides, are accessible to all visitors and are designed for public use.

The goal of the Law Library is to meet the legal research and scholarship needs of law students, faculty, university patrons, and the general public by making legal resources available and accessible. To achieve this goal the Law Library is expanding its collection to include print and electronic materials that are relevant and useful for our patron base. Our catalog is accessible online at http://catalog.law.udc.edu/search, and it can help you in locating materials within our collection. We have a skilled staff of professional librarians who are experts in the area of legal research and our reference department is always ready to help. Do not hesitate to make use of our expert staff.

The Law Library is the technology hub at UDC-DCSL. We have Internet access available to all UDC-DCSL students and faculty at every seat in the Law Library via wireless LAN. We can accommodate approximately 160 patrons with new tables and carrels. Each one of these 160 seats is equipped with power and lighting for your use. The Law Library is open to the general public. Public patrons using the library are required to sign in and out and to leave a photo ID at the circulation desk.
